The Transport Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient dispatch, scheduling, monitoring, and documentation of all trucking operations. The role ensures that trucks, drivers, and deliveries are properly assigned and coordinated in accordance with client requirements, company standards, safety regulations, and agreed timelines. The coordinator also serves as the central communication point between drivers, warehouse teams, clients, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily truck deployment schedules based on delivery orders and client requirements.
- Assign drivers and helpers depending on load, routing, and vehicle capacity.
- Ensure all vehicles dispatched are properly documented (trip tickets, delivery receipts, and gate passes).
