Transport Planner – Manchester – Up to £32, per annum!

Are you an experienced transport planner in general haulage looking for an exciting opportunity within a market leading company?

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 4 on/4 off days

Salary: Up to £32, per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support a fleet of drivers on a daily basis
  • Booking deliveries
  • Monitoring driver times, progress, providing ETAs to ensure good time keeping
  • Route planning
  • Ensure compliance with all transport legislation and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delays, changes or updates

    • Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a transport planner
  • Legal compliance knowledge – Tachographs, infringements, WTDs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent UK geographical knowledge
  • Organised and able to work on own initiative
