Description
Under the guidance and supervision of the Trauma Program Medical Director and Trauma Program Manager, performs case coding and abstracting, and analysis of trauma patients records under the guidelines of the American College of Surgeons Standards and the San Diego County EMS contract. Maintains the trauma database and provides statistics as requested. Participates in quality improvement and cost containment strategies, including: M&M and MAC preparation. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
