Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need Start Date: As soon as credentialed Openings: 1 Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search Practice Setting: Inpatient, OR and Call coverage Average 15-20 PPD Trauma Surgeon on-call off site Schedule: Night coverage, 7:00p-7:00a Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric EMR: Cerner Credentialing: 90 days Requirements: Active Michgan licensure Board certification AHA BLS, ACLS and ATLS certifications Minimum 1-year General Surgery experience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
