Cath Lab and Special Procedures
Location: Westside Regional, 8201 W Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL 33324
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds – 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
- Number of Staff – 22, consisting of RNs and Techs
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, Director, 4 staff members per room, 16 total per shift
- Night Shift – On-call team, 3 each call team, 7 total
- Patient Ratios – 1:1
- Type of equipment – all GE rooms
- EMR – Meditech and MacLab
Typical hiring profile:
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
BLS, ACLS, ARRT
Must be competent in Special Procedures & GE Innova
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
