TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an immediate assignment in Stockton, California. The position is a 13‑week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour days.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
- Assist in scrubbing for all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient during all procedures.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to interpret examination requests accurately.
- Operate intravenous and dye injector pumps.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
