- RPH - Pharmacist State of Texas
- IV Certification
- 40 hours training in compounding sterile products accredited by ACPE or ASHP
Job Details- Promote pharmaceutical care by managing the medication process, identifying and preventing potential drug-related problems, and resolving actual drug-related problems.
- Perform duties of a registered pharmacist as defined by Texas Children's Hospital.
- Responsibilities performed developmentally appropriate for ages 0-adult.
- Ensure appropriateness of all medication doses considering patient diagnosis, weight/body surface area, allergies, and drug interactions.
- Accurately enter medication orders in computer.
- Ensure correct medications are dispensed with no errors.
- Process medication orders and deliver doses within established guidelines.
- Follow aseptic technique and infection control in preparation of sterile products.
