This role is responsible for handling urgent patient calls, coordinating communication with providers, and ensuring timely follow-up on clinical inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume inbound calls (approximately 60–80/day), including urgent patient concerns
- Perform triage responsibilities by gathering detailed patient information and accurately documenting messages for providers
- Handle pharmacy-related calls, including refill requests and clarifications
- Communicate with primary care and urgent care offices regarding patient needs and coordination of care
- Escalate urgent or time-sensitive matters appropriately to clinical staff/providers
