Overview
We are looking to appoint 1.00 WTE to the dynamic and forward‑thinking Department of Urology. The post will be primarily based at Northwick Park Hospital but may be asked to attend Central Middlesex Hospital if required.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to in‑patients wards and out‑patients clinics.
- Observe and assist in surgical cases in main theatres and day surgery, including laparoscopic prostate and pelvic surgery.
- Manage the daily list of urology inpatients.
- Attend outpatient clinics and assist in operative theatre sessions, including a full range of upper tract laparoscopic surgery.
- Work a regular shift pattern, including nights, with an average of 40 hours per week.
- Be part of the Urology on‑call rota (approximately one in six shifts).
