Job Description

. Quality Planning & Documentation

  • Implement the Project Quality Plan, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), Method Statements, and Checklists specific to tunnel construction.
  • Ensure all tunneling activities comply with project specifications, drawings, codes (IS, BS, ACI, EN), and client/consultant requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date revision control for all quality documents.

    • 2. TBM Tunnel Construction Quality Control

    (Applicable for shield/EPB/TBM tunneling projects)

  • Inspect and verify:TBM assembly & daily pre?launch checksCutterhead tools, disc cutters, scrapers, brushesMain drive torque, pressure levels, and system parametersSlurry/EPB conditioning materials and their dosingTBM advance sequence, thrust forces, and ring build parameters
  • Monitor segment installation, grout injection, and annular gap filling quality.
