Job Description
**Amentum** is looking for a **Turbine Generator Mechanic** to join our team in **McLean, VA!** As a Turbine Generator Mechanic, you will inspect, repair, adjust, test, and replace parts as required on assigned turbine generator units. **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance.**
**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Responsible for all engine and generator maintenance related to the turbine generator units and subsystems.
+ Perform all service checks following manufacturer recommendations.
+ Keep adequate and proper operational and maintenance logs.
+ Identify all spare parts as needed for use and stock inventory.
+ Responsible for all fire suppression systems and maintenance connected with the generators.
+ Interface with outside service contractors used for specialty work on the turbine generator units.
