The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking to fill multiple positions (60-100%) for Physician Assistant to support QuickCare and Urgent Care clinics . These positions will support our Iowa City (Corridor) and Quad Cities locations. Physician Assistant performs direct patient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic services. Within the Physician Assistant (PA)/Physician relationship, the PA will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and services provided. Our Physician Assistant's will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and services provided. The PAs will also assist in educating healthcare students, as they rotate through the respective departments and divisions and will assist in research endeavors as appropriate. UI Walk-in Clinics provide care to try to save our patients a trip to the emergency room. We're open evenings, weekends, and even some holidays.
