Job Description

Ultrasound Technologist

PRN

As an Ultrasound Tech at Northwest Medical Center Houghton, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of ultrasonography or radiologic technology.
  • Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.
  • Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function under stress.
  • BLS required. 
  • ACLS and PALS preferred.
  • Required:
  • ARDMS Registry/Certificate in Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) 
  • -OR-
  • ARRT Registry/Certificate in Radiography
  • -AND- 
  • ARRT Registry/Certificate in Ultrasound.
