Grade 12 (Essential)
Relevant tertiary qualification; a medical diploma/degree is beneficial Your Outputs (include but are not limited to):
Receive underwriting requirements from clinical
Synthesize the requirements received and use internal and external guides to make the final decision regarding the cover
Underwriting of new business policies, group risk policies, and servicing cases
Communicate with Financial advisors and distribution specialists regarding decision-making for underwriting
Handle queries regarding premiums
Assess risk on life cover, serious illness cover, and disability cover
Adhering to Risk Management (underwriting) rules, rating, and insurance laws and regulations
