This role offers flexibility, with the option to work remotely or from our Canadian office location. Preference will be given to those candidates in the Toronto or Kitchener‑Waterloo areas.
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Director to play a pivotal role in advancing our Canadian Life & Health reinsurance business. Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer, you will evaluate complex facultative risks—particularly large and high‑net‑worth cases—while delivering exceptional service to our clients. This is more than a technical underwriting role. It is an opportunity to shape market presence, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and grow into broader strategic leadership responsibilities over time.
