Overview:

The Principal System Administrator (Unix Team Lead) is responsible for all the system administration of UNIX and LINUX servers, the integrity and performance of all the systems, and leading the technical activities for design and implementation of technical solutions for systems. Additionally, the role involves guiding, mentoring, and managing the Unix System Administration team. This role reports to the Tower Lead. The other key responsibilities are as detailed below:

  • To lead, mentor, and supervise the Unix/Linux system administration team.
  • To manage workload distribution, task delegation, and monitor team performance to ensure operational KPIs and SLAs are met.
