Role Summary
The advanced clinical practitioner (ACP) provides advanced clinical practice as an integrated part of the multidisciplinary team within the Urgent Treatment Centre and Emergency Department. The successful candidate will deal with a wide range of primary care presentations in both adults and children using advanced clinical skills to investigate, diagnose and instigate treatment. The definition of Advanced Clinical Practice as stated by Health Education England (2017) is delivered by experienced, registered health and care practitioners. It is a level of practice characterised by a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making.
