Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review financial statement audits in accordance with US GAAP and GAAS standards
- Review audit workpapers, supporting schedules, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct risk assessment procedures and identify key audit areas
- Evaluate and test internal controls over financial reporting
- Execute substantive audit procedures and analytical reviews
- Work on audits for Not-for-Profit (NFP) organizations and ensure compliance with applicable reporting requirements
- Prepare audit documentation and ensure proper audit trail is maintained
- Review trial balances, lead schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents
- Assist in preparation and finalization of audited financial statements and disclosures
- Coordinate with engagement teams and clients for audit queries and information requests
