US Payroll Specialist

Job Summary The US Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for US-based employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This role requires a strong understanding of US payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll systems, along with attention to detail and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly/monthly US payroll for employees across multiple states Ensure payroll is accurate, compliant, and processed within deadlines Maintain and validate employee data including compensation, benefits, and deductions Handle payroll-related tax filings (federal, state, and local) and ensure compliance with US regulations Reconcile payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly Manage garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle payments Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, offboarding, salary revisions) Ensure compliance with laws such as FLSA, IRS regulations, and ...
