Roles and Responsibilities
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the onshore tax team with managing the tax compliance function for hedge funds and mutual funds
Coordinate with accounting firms on various tax deliverables and ensure the deliverables calendars are followed
Review and document review of the tax returns and related workpapers for hedge funds and mutual funds (Form 0-RIC and related schedules)
Review and document review of the monthly tax estimates workpapers for a subset of hedge funds (Form 5, Schedule K-1)
Review and document review of the annual tax estimates workpapers for hedge funds and mutual funds
Review and document review of various other tax deliverables PFIC statements, FBAR returns, Forms 2, Form 1, various mutual funds’ deliverables etc.)
