Vacancy: Operations Controller – Cape Town, Western Cape
Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Operations Controller to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all Operational aspects of the business.
- Complete RFQ’s.
- Do logistics planning and execution.
- Ensure all freight is collected and lodged by the designated logistics partners.
- Manage internal and external personnel (Site Operators).
- Monitor and track all vehicle departures and arrivals to ensure adherence to scheduled times.
- Ensure that all drivers are always in possession of a valid PRDP Drivers Licence.
- Manage third party logistics and contractors.
- Oversee the completion of vehicle checklists, including vehicle inspections and device checks.
