Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Operations Controller to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities Manage and oversee all Operational aspects of the business. Complete RFQ’s. Do logistics planning and execution. Ensure all freight is collected and lodged by the designated logistics partners. Manage internal and external personnel (Site Operators). Monitor and track all vehicle departures and arrivals to ensure adherence to scheduled times. Ensure that all drivers are always in possession of a valid PRDP Drivers Licence. Manage third party logistics and contractors. Oversee the completion of vehicle checklists, including vehicle inspections and device checks.
