Overview
LiVES Vascular Service is looking to appoint a Medical Secretary to provide a comprehensive service with minimal supervision. The successful applicant will organise their workload and coordinate with other Medical Secretaries to ensure an efficient service, exercising initiative and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive service to consultants and specialty teams, including nurse practitioners/clinicians.
- Manage and maintain 18‑week pathways including tertiary referrals to external trusts, ensuring accurate recording on the PAS system.
- Arrange follow‑up appointments in conjunction with Referral to Treat (RTT) patient pathway.
