Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Compound Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a large, fast-paced automotive compound operation.

This is a senior leadership role within a high-volume environment, requiring a proven operator who has previously managed large-scale vehicle compounds and understands the complexities that come with high stock volumes, tight turnaround times, and multiple stakeholder demands.

The Role:

  • Oversee all compound operations, ensuring vehicles are managed efficiently from arrival through to dispatch

  • Lead, motivate and develop operational teams across multiple functions

  • Maintain full control of stock accuracy, movement, and location within a large-scale compound

  • Ensure all operational processes meet customer, manufacturer, and internal standards

  • Drive performance against KPIs including turnaround times, utilisation, and service levels
