Job Description
The field service technician will provide timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and Ground Support Equipment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to FedEx vehicles and GSE.
- Complete required paperwork for each assignment, including VURR, VAGIS, and FAMIS documentation.
- Compile and maintain all documents necessary to comply with local and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with corporate and OSHA standards.
- Interface with customers (FedEx employees) and vendors regarding vehicle and equipment repairs.
- Assume responsibility for completion of project work.
