POSITION SUMMARY:
Timber Products Company is looking for a strong leader to direct the day-to-day operations of Medford Plywood’s veneer facility. Work includes overall management and scheduling of shifts and employees, monitoring the production and quality of veneer, supporting veneer sales, and ensuring resources are utilized to the highest levels of efficiency. Ensures a safe and efficient work environment by communicating and managing to established safety, quality, and production goals.
MAJOR TASKS:
+ Ensures a safe work environment is maintained and that the company safety program and safety standards are being met.
+ Oversees daily and weekly output targets for the veneer skins operations.
+ Coordinates veneer and substrate supply with purchasing, planning, and veneer and plywood manufacturing operations to ensure sales commitments are met.
