Responsibilities
- Voyage Optimization: Attentive review and interpretation of charter party terms to develop and implement optimal voyage plans.
- Operational Excellence: Efficiently coordinate voyage logistics, liaising with the Master, agents, chartering desk, and bunker suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Compliance and Safety: Prepare and ensure strict compliance with voyage orders, prioritizing the safety and efficiency of all voyages while adhering to Charter Party warranties.
- Cost Management: Appoint agents, negotiate and approve port pro-forma disbursements and third-party invoices, and plan, purchase, monitor, and coordinate bunker deliveries in a cost-effective manner to minimize voyage operating costs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain exceptional service levels by fostering strong relationships with our agency network, brokers, agents, and stevedores, ensuring clear and effective communication.
