CHIEF OF STAFF
Pay Range: $117,719 – $170,039 (full‑time). Variable pay eligibility based on production, subject to state exceptions. The range reflects general hiring levels and may vary by experience, skill, education, location, and schedule.
Job Purpose and Function
The Chief of Staff manages the hospital to ensure the highest quality of veterinary care, exceptional client service, associate engagement, and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team. The role advocates for pets and their quality of life, builds long‑term relationships with clients, and educates both clients and associates on all aspects of pet health. Partnership with the Practice Manager (if applicable) and other leadership provides an effective, productive veterinary team, a safe and engaging environment, and improved medical quality and business performance.
