**BluePearl** **Pet Hospital in Rockville, MD is hiring for a compassionate and skilled Oncology Veterinary Assistant!**
**Schedule:** Weekdays, 4x10s
**Pay** : $21.25 - $31.40 / hour
**_This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool._**
**As an Oncology Veterinary** **Assistant,** **you will:**
+ Assist the Technicians and Doctors monitoring patient during treatment.
+ Set up appropriate materials for chemotherapy administration.
+ Help restrain patients during appointments and treatment.
+ Safely dispense, reconstitute, and administered SQ/IM chemotherapy agents.
+ Properly wrap and shave for an IV catheter for chemotherapy infusion
+ Help stock and clean appointment room.
