Job Description
We are looking for a registered physiotherapist with enthusiasm for small animals to join this newly established practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be in charge of all the wellness/physiotherapy area. We will offer several services in this area which include: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Laser Therapy, Electrotherapy (TENS), Hydrotherapy, and Shockwave therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- To be the guidance of the junior veterinarians and students in all physiotherapy, rehabilitation medicine activities.
- Providing leadership across the physiotherapy/wellness area, ensuring the provision of the best practice patient care.
- Treat a range of complaints, including spinal problems, joint problems and injuries to muscles, ligaments and tendons.
- Facilitate post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Devise exercise regimes for a range of conditions, from neurological conditions, to obesity, to preventative physiotherapy.
