Job Description
Our client is a reputable ship management organization seeking an experienced Vetting Superintendent to support and enhance fleet vetting performance across its tanker and gas carrier operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring vessels consistently meet the highest standards of safety, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and industry vetting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate vessel preparation for vetting inspections, including SIRE 2.0, CDI, Oil Major, Terminal, and other third-party assessments.
- Conduct onboard inspections, training sessions, and gap analyses to ensure vessel readiness and continuous compliance with company standards and industry requirements.
- Review inspection findings, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and verify the timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
