Join VIA Rail as a Senior Mechanical Engineering Expert and contribute to sustainable transportation. Oversee Mechanical systems for the Long Distance Regional fleet.
You will report directly to the Director of Engineering while serving as the Mechanical authority for VIA Rail’s fleet programs. Engage with key stakeholders and manufacturers to ensure that design solutions remain compliant and reliable. Your role will directly impact the efficiency and sustainability of rail services in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Mechanical engineering expertise for LDRR programs
• Approve technical documentation and designs from suppliers
