Job Description

Underwriting Risk Management



  • Assist senior management with reviewing and challenging underwriting transaction requests, collaborating with Credit Department for decision making, and applying strong credit knowledge and transaction experience to assess credit and market risks of underwriting positions. 



  • Manage credit origination, portfolio oversight, and ongoing risk management activities.

  • Review with deep analysis and view of the market conditions, and review the weekly MtM position updates of unsold exposures and business' strategies.



  • Perform analysis of underwriting portfolio and report it to the monthly regional committee participated by management. 



  • Assessing new Structured Debt products and services, organizing discussions with various stakeholders including head office in Tokyo.
