Overview
Vice President, ESG, Real Estate — London-based role at GIC. ESG is integral to GIC's mandate, driving sustainability integration across the Real Estate department and related teams. The successful candidate will drive ESG strategy, integrate sustainability factors into investment processes, asset management of real assets, reporting & analytics, and be a liaison between Asset Management/Investment Management and the ADE team in Europe. The role emphasizes proactive asset improvement planning and portfolio value creation, with a focus on monitoring regulatory developments and collaborating with partners on asset improvements.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio activities: Collaborate with ADE, AM, and IM teams to integrate ESG metrics and goals into screening, due diligence, asset management, and divestment activities.
- Evaluate sector- and geography-specific ESG market drivers to prioritize asset improvement plans with ADE, AM, and IM.
