Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly/annual Management accounts.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the Museum's2026 launch and beyond.
- Present financial performance and risks to the Board of Directors.
Governance & Internal Controls
- Establish and enforce robust internal control policies and SOPs.
- Manage cash flow, particularly the CAPEX budget for construction and interior fit‑outs, etc.
Taxations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards) and BNM requirements.
- Manage the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities (including SST and any cultural tax exemptions).
