Specialist responsible for creating the initial prototype versions of aircraft seats and their components. This involves translating design concepts into tangible, functional prototypes, allowing for testing, refinement, and ultimately, the creation of the final, luxurious seating for high‑end aircraft.
Your Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
- Translating Design: Work with designers, engineers, and clients to understand the desired aesthetics, comfort, and functionality of the seats.
- Material Selection and Fabrication: Experiment with different materials, like leather, fabrics, and foams, shape and combine them to create prototypes that meet the design specifications.
- 3D Modeling and Prototyping: Knowledge in 3D modeling software to create digital templates.
