Requirements and Qualifications
- A regulated health professional (RPN)with a minimum 2 years experience
- Must be willing to travel in the Mississauga and Halton region
- CurrentBLScertification
- Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Testand Immunizations (up to date)
- Excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with Home Care Staff and clients
- Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing in-home assessments of health status, mobility, cognition, and home safety
- Provide clinical care including medication administration, injections, IV therapy, wound and catheter care, andostomy management
- Perform diagnostic procedures (e.g., blood glucose and urine tests) and manage medical equipment such as oxygen, feeding tubes, or CPAP
