**JOB SUMMARY:**
The candidate will come to UTMB to work on activities that are planned as part of our funded Training and Research on Arboviruses and Zoonoses in Nigeria and Sierra Leone (TRAIN) program.
**MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:**
+ Receive extensive research training from UTMB faculty mentors.
+ Performs laboratory work or research pertaining to the training program, under the direction of responsible faculty.
+ Develop and supervise execution of a research proposal.
+ Analyze research results, prepare manuscripts for publication, mentor fellow lab members.
+ Applicants will also have opportunities to lead or collaborate on projects.
+ Library research as needed.
+ Adheres to all UTMB rules and regulations....
