Position Summary
Visiting Researcher/Scholar in ARTS at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. Unfunded; researchers must organise funding themselves.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and produce publications in collaboration with department personnel.
- Prepare and deliver a lecture on the research topic within two weeks of arrival.
- Participate in departmental meetings and events.
- Contribute to teaching within the department if requested.
- Sign an Academic Visitor contract promptly upon arrival.
Qualifications
- Postdoctoral researcher or doctoral candidate (master‑level students not accepted).
- Research background in art, design, media or architecture with a sustainable development focus.
- Unfunded; candidate must have secured or be able to secure funding for the duration of the visit.
