Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on VoIP / Linux Technical Support Specialist to be the front line for customers, internal staff, and reseller partners who depend on our telephony and networking systems. This is a customer-facing technical support role for someone who is equally comfortable digging through Linux logs, isolating a SIP registration failure, and patiently walking a customer through reprogramming a desk phone.
You should already be strong in Linux, VoIP, PBX systems, and IP networking. Experience with our Protel PBX platform is not required — we'll train you on Protel-specific administration on the job.
What You'll Do
- Own support tickets end to end: triage, troubleshoot, resolve, document, and follow up.
- Diagnose and fix VoIP and telephony issues across SIP registration, call routing, call quality, and connectivity.
