Volunteer Victoria is seeking a community-minded financial leader to serve as Treasurer on our Board of Directors.
This is an opportunity to help guide the long-term sustainability of an organization that strengthens volunteerism and builds connected communities across Greater Victoria.
We are not looking for someone to “do the books.”
We are looking for someone to help steward the organization’s financial future.
About the Role
The Treasurer is a voting member of the Board and provides governance-level financial oversight. Working alongside the Executive Director and Board colleagues, the Treasurer helps ensure financial integrity, transparency, and long-term fiscal sustainability.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on oversight, risk awareness, and informed decision-making — not day-to-day accounting.
