This role plays a critical part in supporting the growth of the corporate loan portfolio while ensuring robust credit risk assessment, governance, and portfolio management across a diverse client base.

Responsibilities:
- Lead credit risk assessment and approval for corporate banking transactions, including bilateral and syndicated lending, structured facilities, and ancillary products
- Review and approve credit proposals, financial models, and risk ratings in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Provide independent challenge to relationship managers on deal structure, risk mitigants, and covenant packages
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of corporate counterparties, identifying emerging risks and recommending proactive risk actions
