Job Description

Risk Management Group (RMG) is a second line function which provides objective advice, review and challenge on the activities undertaken by the first line business and support units to manage DBS’ risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. RMG monitors and provides the Board and senior management with an independent assessment of the risk profiles of DBS Group on a regular basis.

RMG-OR comprises risk professionals who assist the Board and senior management in driving an effective and efficient operational risk management (ORM) programme across the DBS Group, to promote the safety and soundness of our operating environment and ensure operational resilience. RMG-OR assesses and monitors operational risk and effectiveness of ORM, and apprises management and risk committee(s) of the overall operational risk profile. It also develops and drives DBS’ risk culture programme.
