Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, friendly and unobtrusive table service for breakfasts, lunches, dinners and special occasions following the employer’s service standards and preferences. Set and clear tables to household standards, ensuring correct placement of cutlery, crockery, glassware and napery. Prepare for formal and informal service as required. Serve food and beverages with care and attention to presentation, including handling wine service, decanting and simple beverage preparation when required. Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests and ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
- Assist with planning and executing household events, private dinners and entertaining, coordinating with chefs, butlers and other staff to ensure seamless service.
