1. ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION
The WASH Engineer based at SIF’s Karachi office will be responsible for the technical assessment, design, implementation, supervision, and reporting of WASH infrastructure rehabilitation in targeted government schools under the WFP McGovern‑Dole School Meals Programme in Districts Malir and Keamari, Karachi. S/he will operate under the direct supervision of the Base Program Manager and with technical support and coordination of the WASH Coordinator. S/he will ensure adherence to engineering standards, WFP/SELD requirements, and inclusive design principles throughout the construction and rehabilitation of school sanitation facilities, handwashing stations, and safe drinking water systems in a timely and quality‑assured manner.
