Overview:
Responsible for the overall operation of the Life Support department including staffing, water chemistry, facility operation, facility maintenance, upgrades, project management, and adherence to governmental and safety policies.
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of the Life Support department
+ Operate and maintain all related equipment and chemical processes
+ Interview, coach and discipline Associates as needed with the Facility Maintenance Manager
+ Assist in preparation of annual budget under the direction of the Director of Maintenance and the Facility Maintenance Manager
+ Oversee the purchasing of new materials and supplies for the department
+ Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance and Facility Maintenance Manager, act as Project Manager for the design of new exhibits
+ Communicate needs and problems to the Director of Maintenance, Director of Animal Care and Veterinarian Dep...
