Job Description
**Welder**
This role involves performing high-quality MIG welding and fabrication on a variety of steel components that are later assembled into complex filtration machinery. You will work from blueprints and weld symbols, use precision measuring tools, and operate material-handling equipment to produce accurate, structurally sound welds that meet strict quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on frames, beams, conveyor tracks, and various machine parts using mild steel and stainless steel ranging from 1/16 inch to 1/2 inch thick, including sheet metal from 14 gauge up to 1/2 inch.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to determine weld locations, dimensions, and specifications.
+ Measure and mark materials accurately using a tape measure, and cut parts to size using saws and other cutting tools.
+ Carry out fabrication work, including fitting, tacking, and assembling components prior to final welding.
