Welder I – Location: Malaysia. Join our fast‑growing semiconductor team where every component touches cutting‑edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks on welding equipment, machines, weld heads, torches, gas piping and work area to meet UCTM standards.
- Ensure 6S requirements are met daily (before start and after end of shift).
- Set up welding equipment, selecting appropriate welding method, machine settings, and consumables.
- Create 'Weld Coupons' daily before the start of production.
- Execute work orders as prioritized by the Production Planner.
- Validate that all 'Kitted' components, including bent tubes, are in OK condition before beginning the job.
- Weld joints according to printed specifications, including bead size, start/end points, and overlap length.
