Job Description
- Fabrication & Welding: Perform high-quality MIG welding on steel in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to plan layout and assembly.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, bevel, and grind metal parts to precise dimensions using grinders, plasma cutters, and saws.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect finished welds for accuracy, defects, and structural integrity using precision measuring tools.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area, adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols, and perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
- Assembly & Repair: Assemble components using jigs and fixtures and repair metal products by welding or brazing.
