Job Description

Overview

Perform welding and maintenance on equipment with a focus on quality, safety, and customer service. Conduct field work and routine maintenance on John Deere and other agricultural equipment. Maintain accurate records and ensure customer satisfaction through timely, quality service.

Welding & General Work

  • Perform welding on equipment with the following processes:
    • MIG welder
    • ARG welder
    • TIG welder
    • Gas welder (brazing, silversolder)
  • Operation of a plasma cutter
  • Operation of drill press / standing drill and grinding
  • Perform measurements on equipment with a Vernier caliper (as example)
  • Touch-up and spray-painting for effective repairing and maintenance
  • Repair issues identified during diagnostics and preventative maintenance promptly and efficiently
